E41ST ist eine Art von Bibliothekskatalog, in dem Katalog werden drei Hauptfunktionen aufgebaut: “Find Books”, “My Bookshelf” und “MyLibrary”.
- man sucht die Bücher bei E41ST erst in Amazon (Find Books)
- die gefundenen Büchern kann man bei “Bookshelf” speichern
- man sucht seine lokale Bibliothek aus (Mylibrary)
- Titel kann in Bibliothekskatalog angezeigt werden
- man leiht das Buch aus
Wie ist die tolle Dienst entstanden? Die Erfahrung von der Bibliotheksbenutzer:

es ist eine ganze praktische Mashup-Anwendung, aber schade, dass nicht von Bibliotheken oder Bibliothekaren entwickelt hat…
ich werde auch nachdenken, ob es Gefahr ist, dass die Bibliothek in der Zukunft nur als ein Speicher des Wissens ist, die Suche wird von “außerhalb” realisiert werden….
